A special thought

I ran across this when I was looking for something for work. I thought that you would enjoy reading this and hope that you pass it along to your friends and family.

Beatitudes for Friends and Family

Blessed are you who take time to listen to difficult speech
for you help us persevere until we are understood

Blessed are you who walk with us in public places and
ignore the stares of strangers, for we find havens of
relaxation in your companionship.

Blessed are you who never bid us to to "hurry up" and more
blessed are you who do not snatch our tasks from our hands
to do them for us, for often we need time -rather than help.

Blessed are you who stand beside us as we enter new
and untried ventures for the delight we feel when we
surprise you outweighs all the frustrating failures.

Blessed are you who ask for help,
for our greatest need is to be needed.

This weekend is the Special Olympics in Columbus with Matthew where he will be playing tennis against other special Olympians. This reading seemed to fit right in with this upcoming weekend. God's timing seems to be right when finding these things.

Not much else has happened this week at work besides the same stuff that happened the week before. Today seems to be fairly quiet...all the hustle and bustle of programs are done till the second week of July.

Just one funny from a kid this week. He is about 3 1/2 and he has a little 9 mth sister named Molly. She is so cute with blond curls in the back and I call her Molly girl and she gives the biggest smile fore me, but today she was cranky like any other 9mth old and well her brother said to mom..." Mommy can Midd Lynne take Molly home, she never stops crying and I think Midd Lynne can fix that". all we did was smile and laugh and he went on his way playing and picking out books and Molly smiled and fell fast asleep in mom's arms. When did I become "Midd" Lynne...I always thought I was Miss Lynne.

I will post early next week with the outcome of the Olympics and how the bus trip and sleeping in a hot dorm goes. Till then have a great week and weekend
